TRAVIS WAMMACK : SESSION WORKS - SINGLES


Travis Wammack worked as a session musician at Roland Janes' Sonic Studio in Memphis, Tennessee in 1961-66, and continued to work sessions for Rick Hall at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He played on countless hits including Clarence Carter's "Slippin' Around" (1968), "Willie And Laura Mae Jones" (1970) and "Patches" (1970), Bobbie Gentry's "Fancy" (1970), and the Osmonds' "One Bad Apple" (1971). He also played on sessions with Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Mac Davis, Lou Rawls, Tony Joe White, Percy Sledge, Paul Anka, Bill Medley, Bobby Hatfield, Liza Minnelli, Andy Williams, Billy Ocean, Tom Jones, Robin Lee, Ace Cannon, Spencer Wiggins, Willie Hightower, George Jackson, J.W. Brown, J.J. Jackson, Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan, Tommy Tucker and several others.
